Class Sneak Peek #5….

Mar 9, 2008

This is half of the 5th class I will be teaching at Lasting Memories. Talk about one creative filled weekend. Lots of fun is being planned. Caroline and I picked out some neat give aways to be handed out during each class as well as some of those oh so popular keychains Maya Road creates. Those little cuties are so versatile. If I have time I will show some fun techniques to do on them. But something tells me with one class Friday night, three classes Saturday and one class Sunday morning I’m going to be a bit crunched for time. Anyway, here is a sneak peek of one layout I created this weekend for the 2 – 12 x 12 layout class I will teach on Saturday. This layout is created with the new Country Fair line by October Afternoon. Talk about the most gorgeous colors. I am in love! Also, notice the cute new Maya Road Noah Chipboard Alphabet.

This layout looks really nice. I plan on taking two classes during the weekend retreat. The problem is deciding which classes to take because they all look wonderful!!!! :?:

I noticed you use a lot of B&W pics in your stuff. How do you decide which is best for a LO? I haven’t scrapped a B&W, but I have some pics of my daughter taken at her last b-day (she’s 4) in her Cinderella costume that I’m thinking may look nice in a color and B&W LO. Maybe I’ll bring those to the retreat…..

I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the retreat. Maybe if you tell me what photos you would like to scrap I can help you out with class choices. All my classes have been created so that different themes can be used.

I like to use Black and white photos on projects and layouts when I really want to use a certain paper and my color photos really clash. Or sometimes I just like the feel black and white photos give to a project. I guess I am really not that much help. LOL, but I am trying though. I say bring some black and white photos to the retreat and give it a try. I bet you will like the effect.
