Class Sneak Peek #5.…

This is half of the 5th class I will be teach­ing at Last­ing Mem­o­ries. Talk about one cre­ative filled week­end. Lots of fun is being planned. Car­o­line and I picked out some neat give aways to be handed out dur­ing each class as well as some of those oh so pop­u­lar key­chains Maya Road cre­ates. Those lit­tle cuties are so ver­sa­tile. If I have time I will show some fun tech­niques to do on them. But some­thing tells me with one class Fri­day night, three classes Sat­ur­day and one class Sun­day morn­ing I’m going to be a bit crunched for time. Any­way, here is a sneak peek of one lay­out I cre­ated this week­end for the 2 — 12 x 12 lay­out class I will teach on Sat­ur­day. This lay­out is cre­ated with the new Coun­try Fair line by Octo­ber After­noon. Talk about the most gor­geous col­ors. I am in love! Also, notice the cute new Maya Road Noah Chip­board Alpha­bet.

    This lay­out looks really nice. I plan on tak­ing two classes dur­ing the week­end retreat. The prob­lem is decid­ing which classes to take because they all look won­der­ful!!!! :smile: :?:

    I noticed you use a lot of B&W pics in your stuff. How do you decide which is best for a LO? I haven’t scrapped a B&W, but I have some pics of my daugh­ter taken at her last b-day (she’s 4) in her Cin­derella cos­tume that I’m think­ing may look nice in a color and B&W LO. Maybe I’ll bring those to the retreat.….

    I am look­ing for­ward to meet­ing every­one at the retreat. Maybe if you tell me what pho­tos you would like to scrap I can help you out with class choices. All my classes have been cre­ated so that dif­fer­ent themes can be used.

    I like to use Black and white pho­tos on projects and lay­outs when I really want to use a cer­tain paper and my color pho­tos really clash. Or some­times I just like the feel black and white pho­tos give to a project. I guess I am really not that much help. LOL, but I am try­ing though. I say bring some black and white pho­tos to the retreat and give it a try. I bet you will like the effect.
