Far more than Isabella Kate but I think it has something to do with being a newborn with a full tummy and a 3 year old that is always ready to play. Tomorrow I am going to take photos of Isabella Kate’s toes and fingers.
Here is my thank you note to Martha Stewart. I created this accordion thank you note using her scalloped note cards, seam binding ribbons, pattern papers, binder hole punch, chipboard letters and dimensional flower stickers.
I have been a fan of Martha Stewart for over 20 years and I never thought I would get to talk to Martha much less to Martha Live on her show. The first time I had to practice with Karen (which just so happened to be the day before I talked to Martha) I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown.
In honor of this day I will be giving away a nice little Maya Road RAK. The class is to show everyone how to create really cute mini albums using Maya Road journey tins. I would love to see some projects that were created using some of my tutorials.
Well today besides thinking about Martha all day long I’m going to take my brother-in-law Dougie to the airport, work on some projects and try to not go to Celebrity Cafe and Bakery to eat their fabulous coconut ice box pie!
A portion of our fence was knocked down and our neighbors trampoline (they live 3 houses down) ended up in our backyard. I have been playing with some alcohol inks by Ranger and must say Ranger + Maya Road = pure delight! Look at how pretty these Sheer Blossoms look inked and accented with glass glitter.
To recreate this flower you will need a Maya Road Coaster Chipboard Flower and a Blossoms II Chipboard Flower. Now attach the Blossoms II Chipboard Flower on top of the crumpled flower and embellish the center of the Blossoms II Chipboard Flower with a button that has been threaded with fiber.
My second book, “Delight In The Seasons,” was published in January of 2012. My third technique-based book, “Delight In The Art of Collage”, is scheduled for publication in January 2014 by North Light Books/F+W Media Inc .
