I thought it was finished…

but I just could not stand it as my altered Easter Egg seemed too small. So I altered the embellishment box that Tricia (owner of Cocoa Daisy) puts in the her wonderful kits to hold all the embellishments. I painted the box with MM manila paint as well as two blossom coasters by Maya Road, stamped the flowers (stamps also by Maya Road) onto the box using my favorite Color Box Fluid Chalk Ink, Creamy Brown, glued a blossom coaster onto the top of the lid and the bottom of the box, then spread Scrappy Glue on the petals and sprinkled glass shards onto the glue. I then took a hot glue gun and glued the egg on top of the box. I love my little bit of Spring. I plan on keeping it out all during the Spring season.

I will have a cute little project to show you tomorrow. I have been working on this little basket (hint, hint) all evening and just love how it is coming out. I wish I had some natural lighting right now so I could take a photo and show you. The mojo is really flowing which is a very good thing as I have lots of layouts and projects to complete before the 25th. I have a plan and as long as I stick to it I will be right on schedule to complete them but, the problem is I keep coming up with all these other project ideas that I just have to create. Do you all do this as well?

I’m easily distracted when scrapbooking. I have things I things I feel like I need to finish, but I get distracted playing with all my embellishments or with paint and stamps/inks. It has gotten worse since I joined Cocoa Daisy. I just play all the time now with all there fabulous stuff.
