Santa Coaster

Santa Coaster Open

I LOVE these photos of Terri and my dad. She loves it when he wears his Father Christmas costume. One year he was in the Southern Living magazine for “Dickens on the Strand” in Galveston, Texas. I will have to find the issue to show you. Anyway, I thought it would be nice to create an altered coaster using the Blitzen line by BasicGrey. I think the papers go perfectly. I love creating anything in miniature form. I don’t know what it is that draws me to that size but I always think in miniature first. Isn’t that teeny tiny jingle bell just too cute on this coaster!
To recreate this coaster you will need the following supplies:

  • Chipboard Coaster
  • Pattern Paper
  • Stickers (letters)
  • Fluid Chalk Ink (Chestnut Roan)
  • Colluzzle (tree)
  • Fibers
  • Button
  • Embellishments (jingle bell, charm, Clip)
  • Mini Card (cut to appropriate size)

Have fun and remember, if you recreate this or any of my projects please send me a photo so I can start a gallery of inspiration.

Lisa, when do you have time to do all this?? This is adorable! Every time I see your new project I feel like I have to make it :) The bottlecup tree is the first on my list. Now I just need to order bottlecups and find some time, hopefully this year ;-)

So cute, but I’m wondering too, how do you have time for all this?!?!? Lol–I feel like I’m losing my mind just trying to get a couple pages done while doing Christmas decorating. And you’re doing ALLL OF THIS awesome stuff!!!

SO glad I’m not alone in thinking you are incredible – and WHERE do you find the time? I’m in awe – and I don’t have any children to keep up with!! You are amazing! Please tell us your secret!
